
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - The Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents voted Thursday to approve a mandate that employees of state colleges and universities be vaccinated .

Under the terms of the mandate, employees must be vaccinated by December 1st or face losing their jobs. There will also be waivers issued for medical or religious exemptions.
Employees who work entirely remotely or via telecommuting aren’t subject to the policy
It's estimated that 75 percent of NSHE employees are currently fully vaccinated.
Medical and religious exemptions would be considered The mandate covers places like UNLV, UNR and the College of Southern Nevada.
