This week on Flashpoint: Host and KYW Community Affairs reporter Cherri Gregg asks the burning questions about the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on political campaigns and the 2020 election.

Since the coronavirus locked down states across the country, political candidates have been forced to campaign virtually. Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has held town halls from his home basement to comply with social distancing guidelines. In addition, the lockdowns have caused many states to postpone primaries and the media is giving little, if any, attention to local races.

How will news media distraction and distance campaigning impact voter education? Will voters turn out? Christine Jacobs, executive director of Represent PA joins Mustafa Rashed, president and CEO of Bellevue Strategies and Darisha Parker, Pennsylvania state representative candidate for the 198th District in this robust discussion.
