Penn's last two games, both on the road, ended in defeat. This past Saturday the Quakers lost a wild one in New Haven, falling to Yale, 46-41.
"It was great to see our offense, from a week ago (44-6 loss at Columbia), really take a very, very positive step," Priore said. "Nick Robinson had a terrific day dishing the ball out to several receivers, but Ryan and RJ did a tremendous job catching some difficult balls, making some key third-down completions. We did a great job on third- and fourth-down conversions, which extended drives. And those drives turned into scores."
Brown is 1-5 on the season (0-3 Ivy) under new head coach James Perry. After a 35-30 win over Bryant to open the season, the Bears have dropped five in a row. Brown can light up the scoreboard though, as the Bears average more than 26 points per game. Last week, Brown lost a heartbreaker at Cornell, 37-35.
"New coaching staff has come in with a wide-open attack," Priore said. "(Coach Perry is) a former Brown quarterback, and his nephew is the quarterback behind center (junior E.J. Perry), and he's a talented young man. Very, very wide open, make a lot of big plays. But we obviously can match that, we believe, with our offense. It's going to be a fun game to watch."
Last year, Penn beat Brown in Providence, Rhode Island 13-7.
Saturday's game kicks off at 1 p.m.
