"It's based out of California, and this is its first location on the East Coast," said General Manager Jenn McCreary.

She said the Philadelphia exhibit is the largest yet, taking up two floors and 24,000 square feet.

"Where you enter the room and a sensor detects the motion of your body and then a projector throws color onto the walls. And so your body basically becomes the paint brush," McCreary said.

Another piece utilizes virtual reality technology in a dinner party setting.

"But, instead of food you have a virtual reality headset and a short film starts based on the 1961 account of the first reported UFO abduction in the U.S."

There are 14 installations in all, and there will be new exhibits every few months.
