Plus, one of the most popular vendor offerings from last year will return: Charisse McGill's French toast bites. The sweet treats made the head of Lokal Artisan Foods will be available starting Nov. 23 at 11 a.m.
“In addition to our regular French toast bites with unlimited toppings,” said McGill, like whipped cream, strawberries, chocolate, and caramel and maple syrup, “we will also be serving a vegan version and bacon on a stick.”
Wait, bacon on a stick?
“Yes,” she said. “We bake the bacon and then we season it with the French toast spice, and it's delicious. The Made in Philadelphia Market is a good opportunity for independent, local producers like myself to introduce their product to Philadelphia.”
Although a vendor, McGill is also a devoted market shopper.
“I buy jewelry. All the candles in my house come from the market. I never met anyone in a bad mood at the Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market. No one was ever nasty or ticked off about something — even with my 30-minute wait. No one is upset about anything.”
Eat, drink, shop and be merry at this year’s Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market.
