And he takes his responsibilities seriously.
His social worker, Jamie Raddatz, says Jaden loves being a big brother. "He has a younger brother he visits monthly, so that's important to him," Raddatz says.
It's also important, Raddatz adds, for Jaden to find a family who will help him stay in touch with his younger brother.
Jaden says he feels protective of his brother. He says that's what having a family is all about.
"It's like a relation that keeps you in comfort," he says. "And they give you protection and love and everything you need, so you're not lonely or sad at all."
