The Spring Arts neighborhood is loosely defined as the east side of Broad Street from Spring Garden to Callowhill streets.
Craig Grossman, general partner of Arts + Crafts Holdings at Sixth and Spring Garden streets, believes this is the year for the neighborhood.
"A start-up brewery called Triple Bottom Brewing," said Grossman, "where their mission is beer, people and the planet."
Then, chef Michael Pasquarello is set to open an Asian-inspired Mexican food concept in the former Jiffy Lube building at 11th and Spring Garden.
"And if I'm not mistaken, the vibe comes from a small town in Baja where ... it's the largest contingent of Chinese people in a Mexican city called, La Chinesca."
Toward the end of the year, another business will open at 990 Spring Garden St. called Location 215, which will be an "event concept."
But Grossman said that's not all.
