CHELTENHAM TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — Two people are dead following a shooting in Cheltenham Township, and a person of interest is in custody.

It happened Saturday afternoon at a home on Green Valley Road.

Police said there was a domestic dispute of some sort, and focused most of their investigation inside the house.

A person of interest was taken into custody.

Neighbor Craig Brown told NBC 10 Philadelphia he was shocked to hear the news.

He said his neighbors were always quiet and polite.

"We just say 'Hi, how you doing, what's going on?' And that's pretty much it," noted Brown. "I don't know if he’s a former boxer, but I see him shadow boxing, maybe training some younger guys how to box."

Brown, who lived in the neighborhood for more than 30 years, said it was odd to see a crime scene on his street.

The residents lived at the Green Valley Road home about four years.
