WEST NORRITON, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — Two women were found murdered in an apartment in West Norriton Sunday night. Police have made an arrest, but they say the 6-year-old son of the woman charged with the murders witnessed the killings and possibly lived in the apartment with the bodies for a couple days.

The bodies were found in an apartment on West Indian Lane after a call for a wellness check. One was found in a bath tub, another wrapped in towels or a sheet under the kitchen table. Authorities say 43-year-old Naseema Sami was hiding under the bed with her 6-year-old son.

According to court documents, she let herself into the apartment building and into an apartment on the first floor. When 68-year-old Lorraine Gigliello, a friend of the landlord, asked Sami why she was there and threatened to call police, the complaint says Sami hit her with a glass container of tomato sauce then picked up shards of glass and slashed her with them.

“Throughout this time, the defendant’s 6-year-old son witnessed the murders. He also witnessed his mother attempting to clean up the scene," said Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele.

The property owner, 78-year-old Lila Frost, walked in during the attack and was also killed.

“We believe this incident happened on Thursday and they have been in the house since then," Steele added.

Sami is charged with two counts of first-degree murder and held without bail.

Steele says Sami had lived at the property 20 years ago, and the landlord had told her then if she ever needed anything, to give her a call.

The little boy is now with family.
