PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Three people are dead after a row house fire in Kensington Monday morning.
Crews were called to the two-story single home near the intersection of Rorer and East Cambria streets around 4:30 a.m.
The flames were put out in about 45 minutes, and one man was pulled from the wreckage and rushed to Temple University Hospital, where he later died.
"There are reports — still unconfirmed reports — that there might be two occupants still inside in an inaccessible location," added Fire Commissioner Adam Thiel.

"We've had a very rough year in the fire department this year already," said Thiel. "If you need smoke alarms, all you have to do is contact 311, and we'll be out to install those for free."
Meanwhile, the investigation into the cause of the fatal fire continues.
