PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A 41-year-old man is accused of being impaired after go the wrong way on I-95 and crashing almost head-on into another car in Tinicum Township Monday afternoon.
Pennsylvania State Police have charged Anthony Colabove with DUI. The incident caused 95 northbound at Route 420 to close around 3.30 p.m.
All traffic on 95 northbound and Route 420 was blocked for about half an hour as a result of that accident.
Philadelphia police say it all started at the Philadelphia International Airport. Colabove was driving a black Ford pickup truck on the departure road, and police blew the horn at him. The truck then jumped the median, hit two cars and continued onto 95 northbound heading south.
The truck was speeding on the shoulder southbound when it collided, almost head-on, with a car going north near the route 420 interchange.
Better news for 95NB in Delco. 95 proper is open but if you are in the outer driver or on 420 you CAN NOT get onto 95NB as of right now. pic.twitter.com/wwIcCzNget

March 4, 2019 Colabove was transported to Crozer Chester Medical Center with injuries. State police helped the second driver, 19-year-old Colin Miller, out of his car, but he was not taken to the hospital.
State police say it could take a couple days for any charges to be filed against the truck driver.
