In places like Montgomeryville, Horsham, Warrington and Doylestown, there was not much accumulation overnight into the rush — something between a coating and an inch.
The grass and trees were painted white, the snow sticking to parked cars, grass, the bushes, the tree limbs, but not so much to the pavement.
Some spots like Main Street in Doylestown looked like a scene from a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie.
But the snow was mainly decoration, as the roads stayed wet and not icy for the most part. Road crews were out to salt any slick spots. But the warmer temperatures in recent days helped so the snow wouldn’t stick.
The commute was only mostly problem free. There were some accidents throughout the region, though it's not clear how much the weather played a role.
