MARLTON, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — An effort to show support for health care workers, first responders and all affected by the coronavirus pandemic is underway in South Jersey.
It's called "Be a Light," an initiative to show we are all together in the fight against COVID-19 even though we are apart because of social distancing. A similar effort is being done in other places including in Italy.
"It can be a string of lights, it can be luminaries, it can be a single candle," she said.
The "Be a Light" effort is starting in South Jersey, but Scott says all are welcome to join in, by taking pictures and posting them to social media with the hashtag #BeALight.
