City officials say if this were to happen in the future, you’ll know about it ahead of time. They are aware that the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds are considering a flyover, but the Navy hasn’t shared any set plans with the city, including a specific date.
Officials said they would inform the city of the details well in advance, because they don’t want anyone to be caught off-guard. The city would also want to give suggestions to people about how to watch the flyover safely.
An Air Force official added that joint training sessions happen every so often, so pilots can stay sharp.
The Blue Angels replied on Twitter that they do not have any confirmed flyovers at this time.
