Authorities say 30-year-old Leytong Peralta-Olivo was taken into custody at his home last week and returned to Pennsylvania.
Investigators say Peralta-Olivo was behind the wheel of a big rig carrying the watermelons when he lost control on exit 19 to Packer Avenue and the Walt Whitman Bridge from northbound I-95 on April 18.
Police closed two lanes on I-95 as well as the Oregon Avenue ramp in South Philadelphia for several hours to clean up the mess.
