Three-time Pro Bowler Brown was a fan favorite when he played for the Birds in the '60s. A member of the 1960 championship team, he's the franchise leader in kick returns, yards and touchdowns — two of which he scored in one game. The Hall of Famer also led the NFL in all-purpose yards in 1962 and 63.

He had a notable acting career after football, and he did some modeling and singing.

"Even during the season, when the team had their day off on a Monday of Tuesday, Timmy would hop the train and go up to New York and take singing lessons and acting lessons and prepare himself for a career in show business when it was all said and done," Didinger said.

It's that type of personality that Reese says he noticed on the field.

"I can't ever remember seeing Timmy Brown without looking at him smiling," Reese said.

According to the Inquirer, Brown's son said he died of complications from dementia. Timmy Brown was 82.
