
A big theme this year is the growing electric vehicle market. Even Porsche, known for making some of the most powerful and well-built motors on the market, is getting in on it. The automaker is debuting its 2020 Taycan, a brand-new electric vehicle with nearly 500 horsepower.
And there is a twist on a classic. For the first time, visitors can get a look at a mid-engine Corvette. And this thing looks bad to the bone.
Mazzucola says organizers expect about 250,000 people to pass through the show floor through the closing date, Feb. 17.
The annual Black-Tie Tailgate on Friday night will kick off the Auto Show. The gala is expected to raise about $9 million for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
