PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Evesham police are looking for a man indicted on charges of having sex with an underage girl he met through a social app. The man is now considered a fugitive.

Burlington County prosecutors say 50-year-old Charles Torrence and the victim met through Kik social media app.

They say the two stayed in touch, texting and facetiming for about week before Torrence traveled to her Ocean County home and brought the girl back to his house in Marlton where they had sex.

Authorities say the young girl and her parents went to police.

Torrence was indicted on four counts of sexual assault, two counts of luring or enticing a child and various other charges including promoting prostitution.

He was charged and released last June but didn't show up for court. A warrant was issued and he's now considered a fugitive.

Anyone with information on Torrence is asked to call the Evesham Township Police Department at 856-983-1116 or the department’s confidential tip line at 856-983-4699.
