The two 18-year-old passengers, identified as Michelle Goodwin of Pennsburg and Daniel Pierson of Red Hill, were killed. The driver, a 17-year-old from Pottstown, was seriously hurt.

Pennsylvania State Police officials are investigating the crash to nail down the exact cause, but it did happen during the storm, when it was dangerous to be out on the road.
