PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Flooding and water rescues were reported Monday as storms ripped through the Philadelphia region Monday afternoon, leaving plenty of debris behind.

And in Mount Airy, several drivers along Upsal Street and Belfield Avenue found themselves suddenly stuck in about 2 feet of water and fearing for their lives after a flash flood took them by surprise.
