The teenager was pinned under the car when it crashed through the front window of a Rainbow clothing store on 24th Street near Passyunk Avenue. Police say a 71-year-old driver stepped on the gas instead of the brake, sending the car through the glass.
The incident left witnesses like Daniel Garcia shocked at what they saw.

"Glass all over the floor, mannequins on the floor. I went back and I looked inside the store and I see this red car in there. But I don't see the kid. Where's the kid at? And all of a sudden, the kid was under the car," he said.
Someone arrived with a jack, and witnesses pulled the car off of the teenager.
It was a helpless, agonizing feeling for witnesses.
"What can you do? Like, it's a little kid," Garcia said. "You understand what I'm saying? And you can't do anything for them? It's unfortunate."
The boy suffered injuries to his head and torso.
Four other people were injured, including the driver, two teenage girls and a 57-year-old woman.
The driver was taken to Presbyterian Hospital for observation. Police say their investigation is continuing. No charges have been filed in the case.
