PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio)  Jefferson Health is planning to build a $762 million specialty care facility right in Center City.

The 19-story building at 11th and Chestnut streets will transform health care, according to Dr. Stephen Klasko, president and CEO of Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health.

He said emphasis will be on telemedicine and same-day procedures, with only the very sickest patients being sent to a hospital for treatment.

Groundbreaking is set to take place this fall.
