You've been wandering around your house for weeks now, just looking for ways to keep busy, and many of us are finally tackling those projects on the to-do list.
Janice Simonsen, the design spokesman for IKEA U.S., says that very subject came up during a recent staff meeting.
"So funny, it was the number one topic of discussion, which was getting to those organization and storage projects that have been sitting for a very long time. One was focused on the basement, one focused on the garage. It was all these projects people have been putting off because they didn't have the time, of course now they have the time,” Simonsen said.
She says IKEA's biggest sellers right now are modular storage units for adults and children, which have drawers and open spaces for containers to fit all your stuff.
Simonsen says currently, one of the big sellers is a product called Kallax.
"It's nice because it can be used as a bookcase or room divider, but because it can be configured to somebody's individual needs by using storage boxes in it, it seems to be a very popular item right now online,” she said.
A similar storage item for kids is also doing well during this time at home.
