On Saturday, Murphy said there is continued proof that the curve is flattening.
“We are flattening the curve. This is a credit to each and every one of you who has taken to heart our aggressive social distancing measures and who continue to do your part,” he said.
Meanwhile, there are continued worries about nursing homes across the state, with more than 400 long-term care facilities dealing with the coronavirus. Over 1,600 fatalities are in those centers statewide, and more than half of South Jersey victims are in nursing homes.
Another testing site will open Monday in Willingboro. The site will be operated by Virtua at its Willingboro Hospital, Monday through Friday from noon to 4 p.m.
Willingboro residents and others referred by a physician can be tested, although appointments are preferred.
Those without one will be prescreened for symptoms.
