That’s what Volvo’s Jim Nichols says the automaker hopes will appeal to owners of their 2015 and newer models who are also Amazon Prime customers.
“It uses a digital key, so the Amazon delivery person only has access to the trunk of the vehicle. They put the package in the trunk, close it, and the trunk will lock," Nichols explained.
You’ll get an app alert that your chosen mobile delivery method has been successful.
It’s the same Amazon platform that permits in-home deliveries.
