PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Citizens Bank Park, Lincoln Financial Field, the Wells Fargo Center and Xfinity Live! are all getting a new next door neighbor.

Comcast Spectator, along with The Cordish Companies, have announced plans to build Pattison Place, a Class-A business building right where the Spectrum arena used to be.

"Pattison Place is going to be our new $80 million, 200,000-square-foot office tower," explained Phil Weinberg, executive vice president and general counsel for Comcast Spectator.

The search is now on for tenants who would like to move their business into the building.

"It is built on what's now a parking lot, so it will displace a few spots," he noted, "but there is really tremendous parking down here and there will be no real impact on the ability to park for any events."

The office space will feature a 4,000-square-foot lobby, roof decks, fitness facilities, on-site parking, plus panoramic skylines of downtown Philadelphia, The Navy Yard and the surrounding Philadelphia Sports Complex.

Pattison Place is expected to create more than 1,600 new construction jobs and generate $295 million in economic benefits to the city and state over a 30-year period. Construction is scheduled to begin in spring 2020.
