PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The Philadelphia Wings lacrosse team announced Monday that they have "permanently removed" announcer Shawny Hill following "offensive comments" he made during the team's home game over the weekend.

January 13, 2019 Hill has also been suspended from all in-arena announcing assignments at the Wells Fargo Center, where he served as Flyers in-game host.
Hill has apologized for his "poorly chosen" words, saying they "were not intended as racially motivated."
