Police say the 36-year-old driver of the car was pulled from the vehicle by four men, one of whom was armed. The driver's 6-year-old son and another man were still inside the car when they drove off.

Shortly thereafter, the carjackers dropped off the pair at West Cheltenham Avenue and Mayland Road, a couple blocks away. The two walked home safely and were not hurt.

But police are still searching for the car — a silver, 2006 Mercedes R350 with tinted windows. The license plate tag is KLJ-6224.

In addition to the SUV, police say the carjackers got cash, a cellphone and sunglasses.

Police urge anyone with information to call 911.
