PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia Police say a man was killed in a hit-and-run while crossing North Broad Street on Monday night.
Chief Inspector Scott Small says a 36-year-old man was hit around 10 p.m., on the 2900 block, near the furniture store that used to be Joe Frazier's gym.
Small said it may have had New York tags.
The victim died on scene. Police say he had ID on him, but they haven't released his name yet.
Authorities will be looking at surveillance footage as part of the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
