Throughout Thursday morning, the district will use its Twitter profile and its homepage to keep parents and students updated on bus delays, which will be updated until 9 a.m.
"With the cool temperature, we want to make sure that as many students as possible are not waiting outside for busses that may be delayed," said the district's Lee Whack.
Whack says folks should constantly check in to see the status of their bus.
"We really encourage students to dress warmly and we really want to make sure that they know if their bus is delayed to stay indoors if they can," Whack added.
Whack says they'll also do their best to help keep the kids warm and safe from the frigid conditions when the school day is over.
"As school ends, students will certainly be able to stay in school until busses arrive," Whack said.
