The tourism group designed the #MontcoStrong logo and partnered with DJB Specialities in North Wales to make the shirts.
Rachel Riley, the board's communications director, said proceeds from the sale of the T-shirts will help those in need.
"It’s going to assist those community safety net organizations that have been really impacted by this current public health crisis," she explained. That includes groups that help the homeless, low-income and food-insecure residents, senior citizens and veterans.
"Seeing someone else wearing a shirt, knowing what that hashtag means, what it says. We’re just hoping that that has an impact on the community and someone sees it and they say, 'Hey, we are not alone, we are in this together,'" she said.
The T-shirts are available exclusively online.
