Temple University Health System's computer system was hacked last week, according to officials.
They say the cyber attack compromised numerous operations from email to scheduling.
The attack began Wednesday, and the affected systems were not brought back online until Friday.
In a statement health system officials said the safety and quality of the care they provide is their highest priority, and they thanked everyone for patience and understanding.
