PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Tori Foles, wife of former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles, took to Instagram Wednesday to announce some devestating news for their family.
In her post, Tori said that she had suffered a miscarriage after 15 weeks of pregnancy.

She said she was "fighting a 'virus' of some sort," when she suddenly went into labor. The couple learned that she had contracted a pneumonia infection, resulting in the miscarriage.
She called the entire process "devastating," saying her emotions "go back and forth from immense and overwhelming sadness, confusion and anger to a firm belief that God has this fully in his hands and will use this for good."
Nick Foles had missed some of the Jaguars training camp, and shared his wife's post, adding "We are grateful for all the love, support and prayers."
The couple are home and now trying to recover both physically and emotionally from the loss. They have a daughter, Lily, who was born in 2017. Fans may remember her in her dad's arms as he celebrated on the field after the Eagles' victory against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII.
