Authorities charged 25-year-old Maddison Leidy with abuse of corpse, tampering with evidence, conspiracy and other related charges for allegedly keeping 18-year-old Erin Schweikert’s body in her basement on Porter Street, near 21st Street.
There were no signs of trauma to the body. The medical examiner is still awaiting toxicology results and has not yet ruled on the cause of death.

It is unclear how Leidy knew Schweikert, but police are investigating the case for links to possible sex trafficking.
Leidy remains in prison on 10% of 500,000 bail. Her next court date is listed for Feb. 5.
A fundraiser has been set up to help Schweikert's family with funeral costs.
