PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police say a woman gave birth prematurely Tuesday morning shortly after the pickup truck she was in was rear-ended by a suspected drunk driver.
Around 2:30 a.m., police say the 42-year-old pregnant woman and a 36-year-old male driver were in a brown work pickup truck at Overbrook and Haverford avenues when a man in a white Lexus slammed into them from behind. The force was so great, the Lexus ended up on its roof.
