PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Presidents Day may mean a day off from school or work for some people, but the National Constitution Center utilized the day to educate people about a very timely issue.

“It is an election year, so we really like to educate people on that constitutionality,” explained Jenna Kehres, museum program manager. “(Understand) what is important about a presidential election before they go into the election year.”

To really emphasize that message, Abraham Lincoln was on hand — well, an impersonator — to share some of the perils a president may go through.

“We try to inform them what a great responsibility it is — not just to the country, but every individual in the country — that we're not the president of the United States, we're the servant of the people,” he said.

Always an honor to have Presidents #GeorgeWashington, #ThomasJefferson, #AbrahamLincoln, and #TheodoreRoosevelt at @ConstitutionCtr for #PresidentsDay! https://t.co/qP3LEB7DBL

Past presidents gathered for a kid-friendly town hall on Monday, where heads of state like Teddy Roosevelt imparted presidential lessons of bipartisanship with museum-goers.

“You must work with many other people, with many differing opinions, and you have to work together for the good of the country,” said the lookalike. “It is not about you; it is about everyone you are serving.”
