On Thursday, instead of gifting a bouquet to your betrothed, PHS wants you to participate in "Share-A-Flower Day."
Between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. across the city, the PHS "flower mobile" will be a various locations passing out thousands of free flowers. Each person gets two flowers — one for yourself, the other for a loved one, friend or stranger.
Each flower will be tagged with a thoughtful message, emphasizing how a "simple act of giving a flower can symbolize love, gratitude, friendship, generosity, and so much more."
