Take a walk through the flora at Johnson’s Corner Farm’s first Sunflower Stroll of the season. It’ll be open for the next few weeks. Advance registration is required. Or, partake in the Philly River Stroll: A series of new eateries and beer gardens along the Delaware River, each with something special to offer.

It’s home opening weekend! Watch the Phillies take on the Marlins Friday night. The new normal is settling in for the Phillies and the rest of the baseball world. Manager Joe Girardi knows his team is ready to play in front of empty stadiums with artificial crowd noise. Although he acknowledges that no noise will ever replace what the Philadelphia fans bring, Girardi has explained this artificial noise is important, so the other team doesn’t hear coaching and pick up on strategy.
Tune into the game at 7:05 p.m. on Friday, as Aaron Nola throws the first pitch of the season.
