Shooting at illegal "speakeasy" in Camden leaves one dead

CAMDEN, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — One person is dead and three others are injured after an early morning shooting at what police called a "residential speakeasy," in Camden on Saturday. 

Officers responded to a home on Ferry Avenue a little after 3 a.m. for reports of shots fired. They said the home was being used as an after-hours club.

The person killed has not been identified. The three people injured were taken to Cooper University Hospital for treatment, where one of them was listed in critical but stable condition.

Police say several people were taken into custody. The shooting remains under investigation.
