NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Jennifer Lopez, 52, and Ben Affleck, 49, obtained a marriage license in Las Vegas from Clark County, on Saturday, according to court records obtained by TMZ and NBC News. The records cite both of their legal names: Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lynn Lopez.
Although reports state the couple are indeed married, to be legally married in the State of Nevada, you must purchase a marriage license and have a marriage ceremony performed. 1010 WINS has reached out to Lopez's rep.
Lopez confirmed the engagement in April in her "On the JLo" newsletter, several days after she was spotted wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring.
Lopez and Affleck originally met in 2002 while shooting the comedy "Gigli." They became an item the media dubbed "Bennifer," and were engaged later that year. However, they split in 2004.
Both of them went on to high profile marriages (Affleck to Jennifer Garner and Lopez to Marc Anthony) and later relationships (Ana de Armas, Alex Rodriguez) in the intervening years, but reunited last year.
