Bryce Harper is going to go down as one of the most clutch athletes in Philadelphia sports history.
Harper hit his career 300th home run in the most dramatic of ways, as only he can, hitting a go-ahead two-run homer in the eighth inning of the Phillies' series finale against the Angels on Wednesday.
Harper, 30, has been on a tear in August. The aforementioned home run was his 10th of the month. He is hitting 35-97 (.360) in August.
The Angels have tied the game at 8 in the top of the 9th inning.
