PHILADELPHIA (WIP Sportsradio) — Who wouldn't seek an opportunity to meet a Hall of Fame basketball player?

Philadelphia Eagles star cornerback Darius Slay picked off Kirk Cousins twice in Monday night's win over the Minnesota Vikings. After the first one, he gave the ball to Philadelphia 76ers guard James Harden, who was sitting close to the field.

"Honestly, I didn't even know he was there at the game until they put him on the jumbotron," Slay said of Harden after the game.

"He's one of my favorite players. I'm like shoot, why not? I get a chance to meet James Harden, a Hall Of Fame basketball player. 'If I make a play tonight, definitely a pick, I got to give him the ball.' Because he's very respected in the league, one of my favorites like I said. So I was like, 'Hey, it's a good opportunity.'"

After the game, Slay did indeed meet Harden and signed the ball.
