PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — What can’t Jordan Mailata do?

The Eagles left tackle, who only started playing competitive football a few years ago, is showing off another talent.

Linebacker and former Temple University standout Shaun Bradley shared a video on Instagram of Mailata singing during the team’s rookie talent show (even though Mailata isn’t a rookie).

His teammates cheered on his smooth, sultry sounds.

Back on the field, Mailata, a 24-year-old 2018 seventh-round pick and former Australian rugby player, and Andre Dillard, a 25-year-old 2019 first-round pick, have been in competition for the starting position. Most, if not all, media members at training camp have said Mailata was out-performing Dillard, a friend of his, on the field.

Regardless, as of Tuesday morning, new head coach Nick Sirianni has not publicly named who would start Thursday’s preseason opener. In addition, the Eagles’ first unofficial depth chart, which is compiled by their public relations department, didn't signify whether Mailata or Dillard was first team.

Even if they did, or if Sirianni publicly announced who would start the preseason opener, that doesn’t mean the role is set in stone.

However, when word surfaced that Dillard suffered a sprained knee and is week-to-week, it unofficially wrote Mailata’s name into that spot for the time being.
