PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — From the 700 level at The Vet to the upper deck at Lincoln Financial Field, Bill Greenberg has been an Eagles season ticket holder for more than three decades, something near and dear to him and his family.
His fandom began in the 1960s during the Joe Kuharich coaching era, and despite several losing seasons, Greenberg’s love of the team never wavered, and eventually led to a season ticket package in what was called the "Family Section" of the 700 level, which later carried over to the Linc.
He called it his perpetual Father's Day gift, as it has given his family countless opportunities to bond, including now, with his grandkids.
Not only have the family been to games in South Philadelphia, but they’ve also been on over two dozen trips to see the Eagles play on the road. That includes London in 2018 and Green Bay later this season.
