Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Derek Barnett suffered a torn ACL in Sunday's win over the Detroit Lions ending his 2022 season.
Barnett, 26, is in his sixth NFL season. After record 2.0 sacks and seven tackles for loss in 16 games last season, Barnett played just 17-percent of the defensive snaps in Sunday's win over the Lions with veteran defensive end Brandon Graham returning from a torn Achilles.
Defensive end Josh Sweat played 71% of the snaps, while BG played 42% in his first game back.
The Eagles could turn to 2021 sixth-round pick Tarron Jackson to pick up the slack for Barnett, or they could look to add another defensive end.
