PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — One of the top stars of Philadelphia sports is celebrating a birthday.
Joel Embiid turns 28 years old on Wednesday, March 16, and to honor him, the Sixers twitter account posted a video of the team singing Stevie Wonder's "Happy Birthday" to the All Star after shootaround.
The team also made special shirts to honor Embiid, who's having another MVP-caliber season.
The Sixers have 15 regular season games left starting tonight in Cleveland. This is a big game for Embiid, James Harden and the Sixers to bounce back from losing to fellow MVP candidate Nikola Jokić and the Denver Nuggets Monday night.
