PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Don't let this kid's age fool you. Jacob Small, 8, of the Northeast knows his stuff when it comes to Philadelphia sports.
While Small currently keeps up with Jalen Hurts, Bryce Harper and Joel Embiid, he can tell you about guys like Mike Schmidt and Bobby Clarke – athletes from two generations before him.
"Once he finds his interest in something, he'll dig a little deeper," said Small's grandfather.
"For example, during last season's run for the pennant, he was really into studying Phillies history and all the players of the past. And in fact, we would go into the backyard and he would show me all the different batting stances of the players he would study on video."
