PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A manhunt for a former Baltimore (Md.) County police officer wanted for kidnapping his daughters in York County, Pennsylvania has led to the discovery of his body and those of his two daughters and a police sergeant, all reportedly shot dead.

WJZ-TV in Baltimore said that authorities found Robert Vicosa, his daughters Aaminah, 6, and Gianna, 7, and Baltimore County Police Sergeant Tia Bynum with fatal gunshot wounds inside a vehicle in Smithsburg, Maryland.

A U.S. Marshals fugitive task force said Vicosa was wanted on charges of kidnapping, assault and robbery after he allegedly invaded a home in Windsor Township on Tuesday, sexually assaulted his ex-wife, kidnapped his daughters against court orders, and fled the area.

Both Vicosa and Bynum were wanted in Baltimore County for kidnapping and robbery in Cockeysville, Maryland as well. Bynum was suspended from the force, according to WJZ-TV.

Baltimore County Police Chief Melissa Hyatt also said Vicosa carjacked a driver and forced him to drive around the Baltimore area before releasing him unharmed.
