American Airlines is going to make it a little more difficult to get some places during the Thanksgiving holiday.
According to aviation analytics provider Cirium Inc., per CNN, American will cut 16% of all of its flights during the month of November. Add it all up, and that's about 31,000 flights.
The biggest number of cancellations will be at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and O'Hare International Airport in Chicago. Philadelphia and Boston will also see a lot of cuts.
American is already cutting more than 1,800 domestic flights from PHL's September and October schedules, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal, in a report citing data from Cirium Inc. published earlier this month.
Compare American, with 31,000 canceled flights, to the second-biggest airline, Delta. It's cutting 4,500 flights in November. United Airlines is dropping 15,000.
