Train derailments have been in the news quite a bit this year.

A five cars derailed in the West End just last weekend in Pittsburgh and in East Palestine, where a derailment sent hazardous materials into the environment, residents are still asking questions and looking for answers.

But in Montana, a recent train derailment didn’t see anything dangerous derail, if fact, it was a beer-lovers dream.

Hundreds of boxes of Coors Light and Blue Moon spilled into the Clark Fork River in Paradise, Montana.

Stephen Smith, who lives in Montana was joined his friend to go fishing and check out the train derailment.

Smith, A volunteer EMT and is FEMA trained, was careful while he approached the derailment.

Some clay also spilled into the river and a car of butane derailed, but luckily didn’t spill.

Smith says his drift boat made the three-mile trip upstream from Saint Ignatius, Montana to inspect the area.

The Associated Press reports 25 cars derailed in total and made a difficult cleanup.

Smith says his friend had a beer, but they seem to have risked the temptation of snagging as many as they wanted.
